How to Connect to a User’s Desktop

How can I connect to one of my users’ desktops?

Answer
If you are an administrator with full access on the V2 Cloud dashboard, you can connect to any user’s desktop directly.

Option 1: Connect to the User’s Session

1. Go to https://dash.v2cloud.com.
   
    
2. Click on the name of the desired cloud computer.
   
    
3. Go to the Users tab.
   
    
4. Find the user you want to connect to.
   
    
5. On the right-hand side, click Connect.
   
    

➡️ This will connect you to the user’s session within the cloud PC.
⚠️ If the user is actively connected, this action will disconnect them from their session.

Option 2: View Their Screen (Web Portal Only)

1. Go to the Users tab.
   
    
2. Under Actions, select Share View.
   
    

➡️ This allows you to view their screen, but it only works if the user is connected via the web portal.

Option 3: Always Monitor a User’s Screen

If you need to see a user’s screen at all times, regardless of whether they connect via the web portal or the V2 app, please send a request to [e-mail].

✅ With these options, administrators can either take control of a user’s session or monitor their activity depending on the situation.
