Difference Between Using The V2 Cloud App And WebConnect

V2 Cloud App with RDP

 

The V2 Cloud app is the most secure way to connect to your cloud computer via RDP, using an SSH tunnel for secure communication. It also supports device redirection (camera, microphone, printer) and multi-monitor setups.

 

WebConnect / Browser

 

In contrast, web connect allows access through a browser without installation but doesn’t support RDP, so device redirection is unavailable, and performance may be slower. Browser access is convenient for quick use, but for full functionality, the V2 Cloud app is recommended. We suggest using Google Chrome for enhanced features like bidirectional clipboard (copy/paste).
