Overview

If Microsoft Office applications are crashing, freezing, or failing to open, Windows provides built-in repair options that can help restore functionality without reinstalling the software.

Prerequisites

Access to the cloud computer
Permission to access Control Panel
Internet connection (required for Online Repair)

Steps

Close all Microsoft Office applications.
Open Control Panel.
Select Programs and Features.
Locate your Microsoft Office installation.
Right-click the Office installation and select Change.
Choose one of the following repair options:
