Sometimes when accessing GoDaddy, you may encounter the message:
“Your browser is a bit unusual…”
This error is usually related to location or browser restrictions. You can bypass it by using a Chrome extension such as CyberGhost VPN.
1. Install the CyberGhost Chrome Extension
- Open your browser.
- Go to the Chrome Web Store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore
- Search for CyberGhost VPN: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/cyberghost-vpn-%E2%80%93-proxy-fo/ffbkglfijbcbgblgflchnbphjdllaogb

Click Add to Chrome → Add Extension.

2. Enable CyberGhost VPN
- Click the puzzle icon (Extensions) in the top-right corner of Chrome.
- Pin CyberGhost VPN for easy access.

Open the extension and sign in or use the free version.

3. Set Location to the United States
- Inside the CyberGhost extension, select a US server/location.

Turn the VPN on.

4. Refresh GoDaddy
- Go back to the GoDaddy page.
- Refresh the browser.
- The site should now load without showing the “unusual browser” error.
