How to Fix GoDaddy Error: “Your browser is a bit unusual”

Sometimes when accessing GoDaddy, you may encounter the message:

“Your browser is a bit unusual…”

This error is usually related to location or browser restrictions. You can bypass it by using a Chrome extension such as CyberGhost VPN.
 

1. Install the CyberGhost Chrome Extension

• Open your browser.
   
• Go to the Chrome Web Store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore
   
• Search for CyberGhost VPN: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/cyberghost-vpn-%E2%80%93-proxy-fo/ffbkglfijbcbgblgflchnbphjdllaogb

2. Enable CyberGhost VPN

• Click the puzzle icon (Extensions) in the top-right corner of Chrome.
   
• Pin CyberGhost VPN for easy access.

• Open the extension and sign in or use the free version.

3. Set Location to the United States

• Inside the CyberGhost extension, select a US server/location.

4. Refresh GoDaddy

• Go back to the GoDaddy page.
   
• Refresh the browser.
   
• The site should now load without showing the “unusual browser” error.
