Sometimes users forget to sign out of Windows, causing their session to become stuck and preventing them from logging in again. Admins can disconnect a specific user session without rebooting the VM.
Steps to Disconnect a User Session
1. Connect to the Admin Session
Log in to your Admin session on the cloud computer.
2. Open Task Manager
Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.
If Task Manager opens in simplified view, click More details at the bottom to expand all options.
3. Sign Out the Stuck User
Go to the Users tab.
Select the user session that is stuck.
Click Sign out.
Wait a few seconds for the session to fully close.
Note
Signing out a user will close all their open apps.
The user can reconnect once the session is cleared.
