In this tutorial, you will learn how to enable Two-Step Authentication (2FA) using either Email or an Authenticator App. Once enabled, you will be required to enter a 6-digit verification code during login.
Important:
We highly recommend enabling Two-Step Authentication to improve the security of your account.
Step 1 — Access the Security Settings
- Log in to your dashboard.
Navigate to the Security tab.
Option 1 — Enable 2FA Using an Authenticator App
Step 2 — Open Your Authenticator App
Open your preferred authenticator application on your mobile device.
Examples include:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Authy
Step 3 — Add Your Account
You can set up the account using either of the following methods:
- Scan the QR code displayed on the screen, or
- Manually enter the provided 16-digit setup code into the app.
Step 4 — Verify the Code
- Enter the 6-digit verification code generated by the authenticator app.
- Click "Verify".
Your authenticator app method will now be activated successfully.
Option 2 — Enable 2FA Using Email
Step 2 — Send the Verification Code
- Click "Send Code to Email".
- A verification code will be sent to your registered email address.
Step 3 — Verify the Code
- Enter the 6-digit code you received by email.
- Click "Verify" to complete the setup.
Your email-based 2FA method will now be activated successfully.
Recovery Codes
After activating one or both 2FA methods, a popup titled "Recovery Codes Generated" will appear.
You will receive 10 recovery codes.
Important:
Please save these recovery codes in a secure location. You will not be able to view them again later, and each recovery code can only be used once.
