How To Enforce 2FA/MFA for Users in V2 Cloud

You can enforce two-factor authentication (2FA/MFA) for users in V2 Cloud either in bulk or individually via the dashboard.

Option 1: Update Multiple Users

1. Go to the Users tab on your V2 dashboard.
2. Select the relevant users with the tick boxes.

3. Click the “Actions with selected” button for the drop down menu.
    

   

4. Click the “Enforce 2FA” button.

   

5. Confirm you want to update the selected users.

Option 2: Update one user

1. Click the “Actions” button next to the relevant user.

2. Then click the “Edit user” option.

   

3. Tick the “Enforce two step authentication” option, if the user already has this enabled you can use the “Require two step authentication reset” so the user must reset their 2FA/MFA.

4. When done click the Submit button.

Result

In both cases the users will see the below screen the next time they connect where they can select to either use 2FA via email MFA with an authenticator app or both.
