The CyberGhost Chrome extension is a free and easy way to protect your browsing activity, hide your IP address, and access geo-restricted content directly from your browser. Follow the steps below to install and start using it in just a few minutes.
Browser Compatibility
The CyberGhost browser extension is primarily designed for Google Chrome, but it can also be used on other browsers with similar technology.

1. Open the Chrome Web Store
Launch Google Chrome
Go to the Chrome Web Store by visiting:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore
2. Search for CyberGhost VPN Extension
In the search bar, type CyberGhost VPN or access this link: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/cyberghost-vpn-%E2%80%93-proxy-fo/ffbkglfijbcbgblgflchnbphjdllaogb
3. Add the Extension to Chrome
Click on the CyberGhost VPN – Proxy for Chrome extension

Click the Add to Chrome button

When prompted, click Add Extension
Chrome will automatically download and install the extension.
4. Verify Installation
After installation:
You will see the CyberGhost icon appear in the top-right corner of your browser (next to the address bar)
If you don’t see it:
Click the puzzle icon (Extensions menu)

Pin the CyberGhost extension for quick access
How to Use the CyberGhost Extension
Click the CyberGhost icon in your browser toolbar
Click the power button to connect
Choose a server location (if available)

Once connected, your browser traffic is now routed through CyberGhost
