Storage Buckets are external storage drives that can be attached or detached from any VM you own. They are ideal for storing data that is not frequently accessed.
1 – Create a Storage Bucket
Log in to dash.v2cloud.com with your admin credentials.

In the left-side menu, select Storage Bucket.

Click Add Storage Bucket.
Follow the prompts to complete the bucket creation.
If you are unsure about usage or pricing, contact support@v2cloud.com.
Wait for the creation process to finish.
2 – Mount (Attach) a Storage Bucket to a VM
Go to the Storage Bucket section in the Dashboard.
Select the bucket you want to mount.

Click Actions > Mount Storage Bucket.
Choose the Cloud Computer where you want the bucket attached.

Select the attachment type:
Drive → Choose a drive number and name.
Folder → Choose the folder path.

Confirm and wait a few minutes for the bucket to appear on the VM.
3 – Dismount (Detach) a Storage Bucket
In the Storage Bucket section, select the bucket you want to detach.
Click Actions > Unmount Storage Bucket.
Wait for the unmount process to complete.
The bucket can now be mounted to another VM if needed.
Note
Mounting or dismounting a Storage Bucket may take a few minutes; this is normal.
